If you are a new consumer of FPl then you must know about the rates and tariffs, for that you have to visit, www.fpl.com. Here at the bottom of the page go to the ‘Rates and your bill’ option. On the directed page, on the right side, you will see the rates residential and business is listed. Clicking on them you will get a pdf page and from there you will know about the rates. You can know about your bills and its charges as well from the left side of the page marked under the, ‘Understanding your bill’ tag.
However, to pay your electric bill of FPL you have to log in to your account and in case you are not a registered customer you have to register first to avail the facility. Heres how you do it.
Register for FPL
- To register for an account you have to visit www.fpl.com/my-account/login
- Here you will find a white box on the page and at the bottom of the box, you will find ‘Register My account’ tag and you have to click on it.
- You will be taken to the next page and here you have to input your,
- Email address
- Confirm email address
- Account number
- The last 4 digits of your SSN and press on the ‘Continue’ button.
- After that, you have to follow the prompts to complete the registration process.
When the registration process is over, you have to log in to your account. This will be the last step in the way of paying your bill online.
Logging into the FPL account
- For this, you must visit www.fpl.com/my-account/login
- On the white box, you have to enter your registered email address and your given password and press on the ‘Login’ button.
Forgot username or password
If you have misplaced your login credentials, you have to visit the same page and here you have to press on the ‘Forgot password’ button. On the directed page, you have to type your registered email address and the last 4 digits of your SSN or social security number. After that part pressing on the ‘Send email’ button will get you to the next prompt. Following the same will let you reset your password. For your email address, you will get an option of, ‘Forgot email/user ID’. For this, you have to input your 10 digit account number and the last 4 digits of your SSN and press on the ‘Continue’ button. Do follow the instructions afterward and you will get your email back.
